Lê Minh Hiền

Violinist Le Minh Hien started her first violin lesson at the age of six. At seven years old she passed the entrance exam to the Hanoi Conservatory of Music.

 

In 1982 she was selected to study violin at the Music School belonging to the Moscow Conservatory of Music, where she spent six years. In 1989 she won first prize at the Vietnamese National Violin Competition “Young Talent,” organized in Hochiminh City.

 

Minh Hien earned her Bachelor degree in 1994 and Master of Arts degree three years later at the Hochiminh City Conservatory of Music. She has attended Summer Music School in Canford, United Kingdom, violin master course of French violin professor Maryvonne Le Dizes (first-prize winner of the 1962 Paganini Competition) in France, and Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute in Tasmania, Australia.
